Extra virgin olive oil Frescolio FRANTOI CUTRERA​ 500 ml bottle

Unfiltered, fresh oil from the autochthonous Sicilian olive varieties Moresca and Biancolilla. The first oil of the season is intense green in colour with intense fruitiness, pungency and bitter notes, aromas of fresh grass and artichoke. Its spicy and bitter notes are pronounced and are particularly aromatic on a slice of toasted white bread and a pinch of oregano salt, which hangs in the sachet on each bottle. An excellent seasoning oil for grilled meat, vegetable soups and pasta.

The family of Frantoi Cutrera is one of the quality pioneers of Sicily. They strongly promoted the autochthonous olive variety Tonda Iblea, which today is coveted and recognised by oil lovers and in international competitions. They are also among the initiators of the founding of the Monti Iblei PDO region. In their olive groves there are more than 10,000 trees, some of them more than 100 years old.
